The Role of the Facilities Manager
The Role of the Facilities Manager What is the Role of the Facility Manager? Facility Managers have the biggest hat rack of any organization. From simple maintenance to issues as complex as enrionmental sustainability, construction issues and everything in between, FMs require not only the knowledge, skills and abilities, but also a particular mindset that promotes diversity in their capabilities and flexibility in their jobs. The San Fernando Valley Chapter of IFMA invites you to join us while we enjoy and learn from John Morris of SAG PP & PH as he explores some of the roles of Facility Managers in today’s work environment. As the IFMA SFV World Workplace 2011 Grant Recipient, John will also speak about his experience as a first-time attendee at IFMA’s WWP 2011 in Phoenix, and how his search for what FM is all about was affected by a single statement. Joining John to relate their session experiences at WWP 2011 will also be IFMA SFV Chapter-Sponsored Board Members, Rodney Stone and Rebecca Chandler.
