2010 – 2011 Executive Board Members
PRESIDENT: DIANA BRENKE, CFM
Diana is a Certified Facilities Manager, with more than 10 years experience in multi-site operations. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications and English; beginning her professional career as a high school theatre, speech and English teacher in a large and reputable high school in Minnesota. Upon moving to California, she became an International Tour Manager, traveling to exotic areas of the world. As if that wasn’t exciting enough, her next dream job came in the form of Human Resources, and Shared Services Administration & Facilities at Universal Studios/NBC Universal Studios. Most recently she was Southern California Sites Manager for Blue Shield of California.
Diana, who is a member of IFMA’s Corporate Real Estate Council, earned and received her CFM designation in 2005 and has also served in every position of the Executive Board of IFMA SFV since 2005. In addition she has held the office of Chair and Vice Chair of the City of Calabasas Traffic & Transportation Commission for eight years as well as the same positions with City of Calabasas Public Safety Commission for five years.
VICE-PRESIDENT: DIANE KARAGIANIS
Until recently, Diane has worked in the capacity of Sr. Facilities Planner, which has included project management, tenant improvement, reconfigurations, remodeling and relocations for 20 years at 21st Century Insurance in Woodland Hills. Included with this experience, were 2 recent company mergers, gaining her a much wider territory of 40+ office sites to manage for the Western Region. Her previous experience has included 4 years as a Sales Account Manager for 2 separate office furniture dealerships, as well as being an independent designer and space planner contracting out to design firms, architects and developers primarily in the residential field.
Diane is a native of Georgia and received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design from the University of Georgia. Shortly afterwards, she moved to southern California.
TREASURER: PETER TRIANTAFYLLOS
Peter is a recognized member of the professional design community with over twenty six years experience producing exceptional interiors. Registered in multiple states and the District of Columbia, Mr. Triantafyllos sat on the several national NCIDQ committees in Washington D.C.
He boasts degrees in Business Administration, Project Management and has served as a Senior Facilities Analyst for Transamerica Financial Services, designing offices for the company throughout the United States and Canada.
Currently, Mr. Triantafyllos serves on the Architecture and Design Sub-Committee for the New Parish Center at St. Anthony Greek Orthodox Church in Pasadena, CA reviewing the interior specifications and FF&E.
SECRETARY: ILENE OSEAS
Ilene has worked as a Building Manager for Warner Bros. Studios Facilities and as Facilities Administrator for L.A. Gear. She has over 12 years of experience in office services, relocations, and interior design.
Ilene earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Design from CSU Northridge. She is working toward her CFM. Ilene does volunteer work for Manna, a Thousand Oaks-based Food Bank, and for Many Mansions, a non-profit organization that provides housing for low-income and homeless individuals and families.
Kim Felix – Past President 2009-2010 – FMP
Kim works as Director of Building Services at Fox NE&O, a division under the 20th Century Fox/News Corp umbrella. Kim has been in her present job for over 8 years with an additional two years spend as Manager of Building Services and Security. She handles three buildings that are new to the Fox Studios in Century City, one of which just opened last year. Each building is unique and represent mainly the areas of Fox Broadcasting.
Kim has a degree in Radio/Television/Film from CSU Northridge. She has worked in and around the entertainment industry, from production to post production, for around 20 years. She recently received her FMP and is working toward her CFM.
