Space Tourism – The Space Experience Economy

Join us and hear from John Spencer, a space tourism pioneer, a space architect, founder and President of the Space Tourism Society. He designed the International Space Station and knows all the players in this fast growing industry here in Southern California

John has built a career that balances the design and development professions. He is a pioneer in what he calls “The Design Frontier.”  The idea of space tourism has been in many science fiction stories for many years but now we are close to reality and a whole new industry is being built.  Elon Musk of Space-X, Virgin Galactic and Jeff Bezos of Amazon are all working in the space travel and space experience area.

John Spencer is considered a leading expert in creation and design of real space facilities and space ship interiors for NASA and private space enterprise, as well as space and future-themed simulation attractions, resorts, camps and media for the general public.  He is the co-founder and president of Red Planet Ventures, Inc. (RPV) which is a Mars (the red planet) themed branding, licensing and design company located in West Los Angeles.

The LA Chapter of the Association for Strategic Planning holds regular meetings on strategy in different industries. We welcome members and non members and look forward to seeing you at this meeting.
