Facilities Assistant Role – Hasbro Studios

Facility Management

  • Operations Support – Assist the Facilities Manager in the delivery of daily operational support to 200+ employees
  • Assist the Facilities Manager in tracking the onboarding process for new employees – submit work requests for telephone extensions
  • Mail & Logistics Management – Receive and distribute all incoming mail, parcels, and courier shipments. Prepare outgoing FedEx shipments and USPS shipments on behalf of employees.
  • Minor Maintenance – Assist the Facilities Manager and independently carry out maintenance work within the facility including, but no limited to: Assembly of furniture, mounting whiteboards, moving furniture, rearranging desks, and lifting boxes in excess of 50 lbs.
  • Space Management – Tracking staff moves, adds, changes, and deletes through routine space walkthroughs and proactive monitoring of employee movements.
  • Communications – Respond to requests for support received by the shared Facilities Team email inbox.

Office Food and Coffee Services

  • Track on-hand quantities of snack, beverage, and coffee supplies and coordinate bi-weekly orders with exiting external vendors to replenish office breakrooms and kitchenettes.
  • Daily restocking of all snack, beverage, and coffee supplies in office breakrooms and kitchenettes.
  • Support daily and weekly maintenance of coffee machines and brewers.
  • Troubleshoot equipment failures and disruptions.
  • Check breakrooms and kitchenettes for cleanliness and coordinate cleaning support with the building janitorial team to assure that spaces are kept tidy throughout the workday.

Other Duties

  • Update employee contact lists.
  • Provide reception coverage as needed.
  • Support events within the office, calendar bookings, setups, and teardowns.
  • Other duties as assigned.
